History of ISEMD

Considering the importance of electric machines and with the aim of spreading awareness about this subject; The necessity of establishing a scientific association was raised by the Advanced Electric Motors Technology Development Center of Niroo Research Institute with a group of university and industry experts in 2016, and after a consensus on the formation of the association, the necessary documents were prepared and submitted to the Commission of Scientific Associations of the Ministry of Science, Research and technology in March 2017. The process of reviewing and registering the association took some time due to the need to hold several meetings with the members of the commission of scientific associations and to clear some ambiguities related to the framework of the association and to prevent any interference with some other associations, as well as to change some members of the founding board.
